Nigerians from various backgrounds are eagerly awaiting the live televised proceedings at the Court of Appeal in Abuja, the capital of Nigeria.
Atiku Abubakar, representing the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Peter Obi from the Labour Party (LP), and the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) are contesting the declaration of President Bola Tinubu as the winner of the 2023 presidential election.
The Tribunal has rejected LP/Obi's petition, citing that 25 percent of the vote is not required to win the presidential election, and that FCT residents do not possess the special privileges claimed by the petitioners.
