the recently appointed Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, emphasized his commitment to transparency in the built sector and a staunch stance against building collapses. During the ceremony held at the Adeyemi Bero Auditorium in Alausa, Ikeja, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu officiated. Dr. Olumide committed to not only building upon previous achievements but also implementing initiatives to propel the sector forward, while ensuring effective collaboration with all stakeholders.
Dr. Babatunde, who resumed his role, urged for ongoing cooperation and teamwork. The duo received a warm welcome from the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development, Engineer Oluwole Sotire, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development, and Surveyor-General of Lagos State, Surveyor Ayokunu Adeshina. as well as the general managers of agencies and senior management staff of the ministry.
