The Ooni explained that this collaboration will bring a significant economic boost to the Osun community, and assured that the company is committed to providing the necessary funds. He highlighted that the initial focus will be on agriculture, including the establishment of a cocoa processing plant in Ife-Ife.
Furthermore, the company plans to use solar energy to power operations across more than 20,000 hectares of land, starting with the palace, which will be fully solar-powered within the next two months. The Ooni also emphasized the growing importance of lithium in the energy sector, foreseeing it as the future powerhouse for electric vehicles.
He also pointed out that this Chinese company has made substantial investments in other countries and is prepared to do the same for Nigeria.
